I vowed never to go out with Kris and Marco again after a couple of Poker or Drinking Binges or both that lasted til the wee hours of the morning on a work night. This particular Saturday 12/18/04 my plans were simple and inexpensive, buy my snowboard Helmet and goggles (my xmas present to myself) and play the $10 poker game at Randi's house in Culver City get home before midnight get enough sleep before work 10 AM the next day. I had mentioned this to Kris the night before during our regular poker game and he wanted to come along shopping... somehow i thought this would be a problem or Commerce/Bike Casino just waiting to Happen but i had dismissed the thought. I also hoped that Kris would sleep the whole day so he wouldn't have to go with me and avoid any sort of Commerce/Bike Casino accidents. Kris called just past 11 am to see whats up.....

Kris and i went snowboarding gear shopping at Sportmart/Sport Chalet and finally Val Surf in North hollywood.

My Cell Rings and its Marco...

Me: Hello?
Marco: (Sounding eerily suspicious) Hey Marc who won last nights Poker Game?
Me: Uhmm 3 way split between David, Akio and Kris
Marco: Oh really.. what are you doing? (Again eerily suspicious)
Me: Oh i'm at Commerce with Kris
Marc: WHAT AND U GUYS DIDN't CALL ME, U GUYS ARE F'D MAN!
Me: Whoa calm down i'm just kidding, were snowboard gear shopping
Marco: Oh alright alright... Wanna go to Pechanga?? (there it was)
Me: Uhmm talk to Kris (i hand the phone to Kris)

---- STARING AT KRIS----

Kris: Ok let's Go.. responding to Marco's inquiry about Pechanga (strangely enough i found myself saying "ok let's go" after Kris asked me if i wanted to go)

So we arrive at Pechanga just before 7 PM settled in and had dinner. At 4 am i had lost $300 of my $400 Christmas shopping money ( i have a small list) and Kris $200 at the Poker Room. After poker Kris and i tried our luck at the Paigow Poker table trying to recoup some of our loses. Marco was still seated at the 1-3 holdem table up $180. Kris lost some more money and i recoup a measely $20.... On the way out Kris and i each lost $2 on the slots.

I finally got home at 6:45 am and woke up at 10:30 am sleeping through my alarm that went off at 8:45 am (Again work starts at 10 am). LOL. I called work and said i would be late. Took a quick shower and finally made it to work just past 11:20 am.

THANKS A LOT MARCO......YOU'VE RUINED MY CHRISTMAS AND I'M F'CKIN TIRED (writing at work)
